ID : 14366
« back to classes page
From your very own backyard to the most remote wilderness, our planet has an incredible, vast bounty of wild plants that can be used for food, tools and medicine. Our native plants are so much more than just pretty flowers or weeds! Come take a walk down the free aisles of nature's all-in-one grocery, hardware, and pharmacy store. Learn how to use wild plants for both survival and everyday use. Warning: This class will completely change the way you look at your backyard and make you more easily distracted whenever you spot wild plants.

Classes meet Saturdays, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., every 4-5 weeks.  In the event of inclement weather, class will be held the following Saturday.

By student request, we have expanded this course from 4 to 6 sessions. This popular class fills up quickly!  Bring a camera, note-taking materials, and water bottle.
