This is the fourth module of a five-part Industrial Electricians Certificate offered in a Competency-Based education format. This approach allows students to progress at their own pace by demonstrating their skills and knowledge, making it ideal for those with prior experience to earn credentials.
Installation of branch circuits in accordance with NEC, wiring and installation of lighting circuits and receptacles, installation of special purpose circuits (e.g., ranges, dryers, HVAC), and service entrance and panel board wiring. Grounding and bonding methods, load calculations and circuit sizing, final inspection preparation, and ensuring code compliance. Troubleshooting techniques and addressing common wiring problems, hands-on labs to simulate real residential installations, and demonstrating safe, correct wiring practices in real or mock settings.
