This is the second module of a five-part Industrial Electricians Certificate offered in a competency-based education format. This approach allows students to progress at their own pace by demonstrating their skills and knowledge, making it ideal for those with prior experience to earn credentials.

This class covers basic theory and construction of semiconductors and transistor circuits, focuses on converting alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC), and introduces integrated circuit construction and operation.
