You should have at least two years of experience managing projects or complete the Essentials of Project Management course.

In order to sit for the PMP Certification exam, you need to meet one of the following sets of requirements:

• Set #1:
  • A four-year degree
  • 36 months of leading projects
  • 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification
• Set #2:
  • A high school diploma or an associate degree (or global equivalent)
  • 60 months of leading projects
  • 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification
