The 3 D's: Delirium, Depression, & Dementia

Join Barb Bancroft for a 3-hour presentation on the 3 D's? depression, delirium, and dementia. Barb will discuss each of these conditions separately, even though the three may co-exist in one patient. Barb will discuss common pharmacologic treatments for all three D's in addition to "alternative and complementary" types of therapy including weight loss, melatonin, sunlight, acupuncture, B12, zinc, exercise, sleep, and more. She will also describe the age-related presentation of depression using the SALSA signs for younger patients and the "P's and the D's" for the older patient.
