Jazz Ensemble

Have you ever wanted to participate in a jazz ensemble? This course provides a study of style and techniques in the jazz idiom. The course is open to all wind instrument players as well as piano, guitar, bass and drum set players. Students will also participate in public performances during the semester. Prerequisite: Performance ability on a wind instrument, piano, guitar or trap drum. The college owns a piano; students playing wind, guitar or drums must provide their own instrument.
