During the holiday season, many American families enjoy traditions of twinkling holiday lights, hot cocoa by the fireplace and watching the classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life,” featuring actor James Stewart. In the movie, Stewart’s character, George Bailey learns through miracles just how many lives he has impacted and changed for the better. Like Bailey, many can say the same about Stewart. Through his strong acting skills, heartfelt performances, dedicated service to our country and strong family values, Stewart was seen as a role model, idolized by many other actresses and actors, especially Carol Burnett. Historical presenter, Jim Gibbons, will discuss the life and career of Stewart just in time for the holidays.
