For K-12 Educators, Home School Teachers, Tutors & After-School Program Educators.
Celebrate Earth Day with your students by creating a tree stump planter out of recycled newspaper, plastic water bottles & cardboard. Participants in this workshop will learn how to use recycled materials to create sculptural projects for a very low cost. This project will enhance any lesson and support long-term retention of information in that lesson. It is also great for interdisciplinary curriculum and open to all educators K-12 including Art, Special Education, Environmental Education and even those with a personal interest in learning this recycled art technique.
This is a project that can be brought back to your school and shared with other faculty members for countless additional classroom projects. Includes all materials needed for the workshop, a lesson plan and a kit with enough tools and materials to facilitate their own classroom project.
