Christmastime 2010, a woman disappeared outside of Chicago, without a trace and very few clues for law enforcement to investigate. There was widespread speculation as to her whereabouts with the story moving past local news and onto both national and international press. Her husband was dead, and her children were left behind without their parents. Detectives were stymied, and her sister self-medicated herself to deal with her grief. We’ll explore the facts, clues, and speculation of this tragic case.
