ClassGraphic Discover the exciting world of professional welding and metal fabrication through our comprehensive program led by IVCC faculty. Gain insights into career opportunities and the necessary requirements to pursue a successful career in this dynamic field.

In this hands-on workshop, students will delve into basic MIG welding techniques, workplace safety protocols, manufacturing processes, and fundamental print reading skills. They will have the opportunity to design and execute projects, honing their metal cutting skills to meet specifications.

Beyond technical skills, students will also develop essential workplace competencies such as punctuality and problem-solving, ensuring they are well-prepared for success in the industry. Moreover, presentations from industry leaders will offer invaluable perspectives and insights into the profession.

To participate, students are advised to dress appropriately, wearing long pants or jeans (without holes), a long-sleeve cotton shirt, and leather boots. Additionally, long hair should be securely tied back to ensure safety during practical sessions.
