Step into IVCC’s culinary classroom and explore the art of professional cooking with Chef Bobby Riahi in this hands-on culinary camp designed for teens passionate about food and the culinary industry. Participants will gain hands-on cooking experience while working with fresh ingredients and essential kitchen tools, in addition to learning professional plating techniques and food safety practices. Create delicious recipes while learning the key skills for a future in the culinary arts; and discuss the science of dough, make fresh pasta, fettucine alfredo, Bolgonese sauce, and ravioli, among other topics. Participants will develop confidence, creativity and kitchen skills that will set them apart, whether they aspire to be a chef or just love to cook!
Bring a kitchen knife, cutting board, cooking spatula, kitchen towel, potholder and containers for leftovers.
