GEAR UP! Jr. Truck Driver Training [Ages 16-18]

Thinking about a career as a truck driver? Join our Teen Trucking Camp this summer and get a taste of life on the road! Learn what it’s really like to be a professional driver while preparing for your Commercial Driver’s Permit. You’ll get hands-on experience with our state-of-the-art driving simulators and take short driving trips in our training vehicles. We’ll cover everything from trip planning and route navigation to shifting, backing, turning, and handling tough weather conditions. Our expert instructors - each with decades of experience - will share real stories and insider tips from life behind the wheel.

As part of the experience, participants will also enjoy a tour of the Ace Hardware Distribution Center in Princeton, offering a behind-the-scenes look at real-world logistics, warehouse operations, and how goods move across the country.
