Attention wildflower and photography enthusiasts. Join photographer David Anderson for a morning presentation at IVCC where you will learn about the flora and fauna that you can find in Northern Illinois during the spring. You will learn how to photograph and identify various species and find out where and when they bloom. Some of the medicinal qualities and uses of the flowering plants will also be explained. In the afternoon, your class will continue with an outdoor session at Starved Rock State Park where David will lead you on a nature hike to view, identify and photograph wildflowers.

Students will provide their own transportation to Starved Rock. Please bring your camera, hiking boots, sack lunch and water. Students will be hiking approximately 1-1/2 miles on trails that may be uneven and may include stairs.

Instructor David Anderson will also be teaching Photographing Eagles, Birds & Wildlife on Saturday, February 28 at IVCC.
