This beginner-friendly class is designed to teach you the fundamentals of using a computer safely and effectively. Through hands-on instruction, you’ll learn essential skills such as powering on and logging in, typing basics, navigating desktop applications, browsing the internet, and understanding email basics. You’ll also gain valuable tips on staying safe online, including how to identify and avoid scams. By the end of the class, you’ll have practical experience and a foundational understanding of Windows 11, personal computers, and safe internet practices. The instructor will guide the class at a comfortable pace to ensure everyone has a thorough understanding of each concept.
