AI Cyber Crusaders Camp [Ages: 8-12]

What do robotics, AI and cybersecurity have in common? Join us for an exciting two-day technology camp where participants will dive into the fascinating worlds of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity! Hosted at Illinois Valley Community College, this camp blends fun and learning through engaging activities that spark curiosity and creativity.

You will be introduced to the basics of artificial intelligence (AI), explore generative AI and program Finch & Marty the Robot. We will also work with AI chatbots and build a chatbot. That’s not all, dive into the cybersecurity side of the technology we will be working with. We will discuss how to be safe online, how to use AI safely, make ethical AI models and receive tips and tricks to help you know when to ask a grown up for help.

Mr. Pichman is back! Your instructor, Brian Pichman, is the Chief Security Information Officer at IVCC, we will also take a sneak peek into how the college uses AI to defend our environment. Join us for an amazing experience using state-of-the-art technology in IVCC’s Alienware Lab! You will be able to teach your parents a few things after this camp!
