Back by popular demand with both new and beloved stops! Travel around the world and back as we head to the Milwaukee metro area on our Jingle around the World tour! We will spend the day visiting a variety of ethnic bakeries and specialty shops well known for their delicious goods. The tour feature stops throughout the city and surrounding area while enjoying stories of holiday traditions that celebrate Milwaukee’s rich cultural heritage. You will be treated to signature cookies, candies and/or pastries at each stop. Our first stop is Rupena’s Fine Foods in West Allis. A beloved Milwaukee staple since 1927, Rupena’s is a family-owned market with Yugoslavian roots, known for its old-world charm and commitment to quality. During our stop, we'll enjoy a strudel-making demonstration and tasting, showcasing their tradition of handmade excellence. With generations of experience and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Rupena’s offers a true taste of Milwaukee’s rich culinary heritage. We will visit National Bakery, founded in 1925 in the heart of an old Polish neighborhood by Louis Wisniewski. "National" in Louis’ native Polish language, signifies "for the people." Their tradition of quality baking has prospered over the years and attracts bakery aficionados throughout the state of Wisconsin. Enjoy a tasting of their famous Christmas cookies, made from time-honored family recipes. From buttery spritz to sugar-dusted delights, this visit captures the sweet spirit of the season in every bite. Our trip includes at stop at Simma’s Bakery. Emigrating from Russia in 1779, Simma opened the doors to her bakery three years later to share the love and spirit of her family tradition of fine cheesecakes and pastries, unmatched anywhere in both taste and quality. Under new ownership, the bakery continues to use Simma’s recipes, keeping her legacy alive and flourishing. Lunch is included today. Restaurant to be announced at a later date. There will be many more stops along the way throughout the day! Bring a tote or canvas shopping bag to keep track of all your goodies. There will also be an opportunity to shop at the locations we will be visiting. Be ready for lots of fun! Don’t forget to wear your Santa hat, elf stockings, ugly Christmas sweater or even your pretty Christmas sweater...all are welcome as we experience a variety of holiday customs from around the world - all in one day!

*Please note: there will be multiple stops throughout the day, we will be loading and unloading from the bus frequently upon arrival in Milwaukee. Due to the nature of this tour, we can only accommodate vegetarian dietary restrictions. We cannot guarantee accommodations for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, etc.
