This introductory course provides hands-on training in the fundamental principles of soldering. Participants will learn the essential roles of solder, flux, and heat, and how these elements work together to create strong, reliable connections. The class covers proper tool selection, setup, and safety practices to ensure a safe and effective work environment.

Through guided instruction and practical exercises, students will learn how to properly dress, strip, prepare, and solder multiple wire gauges. The course also introduces the basics of soldering copper pipe, including surface preparation, heat control, and proper joint formation. By the end of this course, participants will understand foundational soldering techniques and safety standards, gaining the confidence to perform basic electrical and plumbing soldering tasks accurately and safely. Materials are included in the cost of the class.
