This intermediate-level course builds foundational soldering skills and introduces more advanced applications. Participants will explore the dos and don’ts of soldering copper pipe in tight or confined spaces, with emphasis on heat control, joint integrity, and safety. The course also introduces surface mount (SMT) chip soldering techniques and provides guided practice in soldering mild steel. Through hands-on exercises, students will refine their precision, improve problem-solving skills, and expand their ability to work across multiple materials and environments. Materials are included in the cost of the class.
