Curious about how 3D printers work - or eager to try one yourself? This informational class is your chance to explore the exciting world of hobby-style 3D printing. Led by Dorene Data, IVCC Program Coordinator for Computer Aided Design, you’ll tour IVCC’s state-of-the-art 3D Printing Lab and learn the basics of creating and printing your own designs. Whether you’re interested in making gadgets, art or practical pieces, you’ll discover just how far 3D printing has come and how easy it is to get started. We will also discuss what equipment you need to start printing at home. No experience required - just bring your curiosity!
