Explore the natural responses of your body - those deep exhales, sighs and subtle sounds that arise as you move and stretch. In this somatic yoga class, you’ll be guided through gentle movement, breath awareness and sound to support the release and flow of energy throughout the body. Somatics is derived from the Greek word soma, meaning “living body”. This is a practice of connection and movement of energy. Somatic Yoga is often associated with reducing cortisol, the stress hormone. All levels are welcome. Please bring a yoga mat, water, and any props you find helpful.
