This is the fifth module of a five-part Industrial Electrician Certificate offered in a competency-based education format. This approach allows students to progress at their own pace by demonstrating their skills and knowledge, making it ideal for those with prior experience to earn credentials.
This module focuses on industrial electrical wiring installation and electrical panel construction. Students learn electrical safety procedures, interpret electrical prints, install and route wiring, grounding systems, terminal blocks, circuit protection devices, and disconnect switches. The module also covers wiring electrical panels to external control devices and electric motors while developing skills in panel assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
