AI Robotic Adventures [Ages: 8-12] at IVCC

This hands-on camp is designed just for kids and combines fun with learning as you explore the worlds of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Through interactive activities, you’ll spark your curiosity, build new skills, and discover how today’s technology really works. You will learn the basics of AI, explore generative AI, and even program robots like Finch and Marty! You’ll also create your own chatbot and experiment with AI tools in a safe, guided environment. But that’s not all - on the cybersecurity side, you’ll learn how to stay safe online, use AI responsibly, and understand when something doesn’t seem right. We’ll talk about digital safety, ethical AI, and simple tips to help you know when to ask a trusted adult for help.

Mr. Pichman is back! Your instructor, Brian Pichman, is the Chief Security Information Officer at IVCC, we will also take a sneak peek into how the college uses AI to defend our environment. Join us for an amazing experience using state-of-the-art technology in IVCC’s Alienware Lab! You will be able to teach your parents a few things after this camp!
