Aboriginal culture dates back over 80,000 years, with rock art more than 65,000 years old and counting. With no written language to convey their cultural stories through the generations, information was portrayed by symbols and icons in artwork. Knowledge, events, beliefs, survival skills, and information about use of the land were shared in this way, creating the oldest continuous art form in the world. Let’s go back in time and discover what they said!
