The Jazz Band is a performance ensemble that is composed of woodwind, brass, guitar, and percussion instruments and performs jazz music. Enrollment is open to students and community members who have previous performance experience, with consent of the instructor. The band performs at least one formal concert per semester and informal performances and activities as possible.
Prerequisite: Performance ability on a wind instrument, piano, guitar or tap drum. The college owns a piano; students playing wind, guitar or drums must provide their own instrument.
